Again, I repeat modest and not sloppy.  Of course no mini's and I think one or two inchs above the knee is o.k. especially as it gets warmer.

Students that don't fit the 'normal' physical mold

Please keep in mind the students that are tall. Finding shorts or skirts that go excactly to the knee can be almost impossible if they have long legs. I agree with modesty and think 'mini's' should not be allowed. I think close to knee length within reason.

tall girls

I voted for 3 inches above only because it is very hard to find shorts/skirts for my tall daughter.

No Skirts!!!

Below the waist attire should consist of either pants or shorts....no skirts!!! Just because we have little girls doesn't mean we should be stereotypical and put them in a skirt. I don't even think skirts should be an option, how many little girls do you know that have had horrible experiences when wearing skirts to school especially if they were to fall down and you could see their underwear! I know from experience how embarrasing I felt when I was little and teased because I didn't move "appropiately" in a skirt. Let's keep this dress code simple one basic color for the pants/shorts and one solid color for the shirts.
