Committees
The Academy Board has organized several committees, each coordinated by at least one Board Member. To volunteer to help with a committee, please contact the committee chair.
The frequency of committee meetings are determined by the needs of the committee itself and may vary. Each Committee provides a report and any suggested actions to the Academy Board at the regular monthly Board meeting. Currently all committees meet together on the second Wed. of the month.
The chairs of the board committees constitute the Academy's Executive Board.

Enrollment Committee
Merrit Bowden chairs the Enrollment Committee.
This Committee is responsible for tracking and updating student enrollment, maintaining enrollment records, communicating with parents about enrollment status.
Committee members: Summer Brinton, Stephanie Gutierrez and Katie Meyers.

At the meeting, each committee will meet and organize their committee, goals, and timelines.
Technology Committee
Thomas Sewell is the Chair of the Academy's Technology Committee.
This committee is primarily responsible for:
- Designing and implementing technology to track and report on student progress
- Creating and Maintaining the Academy Website
- Planning for integrating technology into the Academy's Buildings
- Assisting with necessary communications technology
- Providing technical support for the users of the Academy's website and other technological systems
Curriculum Committee
Aimee DiBrienza and Christi Sewell lead the Academy's Curriculum Committee.
This committee is primarily responsible for:
- Reviewing and Recommending Curriculum for the Academy
- Setting Competency Requirements and aligning resources for those competencies
- Converting Curriculum Resources into the Academy's Competency-Based Format
- Integrating Montessori, Aleks.com, and other Curriculum into the Academy
