Curriculum Committee

Aimee DiBrienza and Christi Sewell lead the Academy's Curriculum Committee.

This committee is primarily responsible for:

  • Reviewing and Recommending Curriculum for the Academy
  • Setting Competency Requirements and aligning resources for those competencies
  • Converting Curriculum Resources into the Academy's Competency-Based Format
  • Integrating Montessori, Aleks.com, and other Curriculum into the Academy

The Curriculum Committee will present an overview of Gateway's Curriculum, including information on Montessori and how an Integrated Curriculum will be designed and used by the Academy's instructors.

The presentation will refer to the Curriculum Implementation Plan and the Planning Guide.

This meeting is primarily designed as an introduction for individuals who would like to volunteer to assist with future curriculum committee activities as well as those who just want more detailed information about the Academy's Curriculum.
