pants
I feel dress code should be modest and not sloppy. I am not for color or style restrictions. This could mean I would have to revamp my kids wardrobe and I cannot afford to do that. I was also interested in GPA because the kids would not be stifled by rules and regulations but be allowed to be individual. Let us not lose track of our original reasons for wanting different education than that being offered at other schools.

I think denim can be some of the best looking and most versatile look of anything. It also looks very classic and wears well. Please let us not restrict so much except for a little modesty.

I don't think there is anything wrong with rules and regulations. I believe rules and regulations allows a child to have structure and structure is what a child wants and needs more than anything. I was interested in GPA because I thought it would be different. I like the idea of docker pants and polo style shirts. It by no means stifles a childs individuality, but gives them structure and if anything, allows them to develop and express themselves through their personality and interests rather than their clothes. Jeans can be nice, but if we want to bring a different atmosphere to our children's education I think they should be left at home and used for play clothes or weekend fun. I also think a uniform would be a lot less expensive for those who feel they would have to revamp their child's wardrobe as buying a few docker pants and a few polo shirts and throwing them in the washer during the week seems less expensive.
Docker-style pants are not a
Docker-style pants are not a logical choice. My boys are so rough on clothes that the only thing that lasts is denim. I can't imagine what a pair of Dockers would look like after a day of school, lunch, recess, working in the gardens, etc. They would not last three weeks. I agree with the idea of proper dressing but let's use some common sense.
