Meeting Called to order 6:12, June1, 2010
Board Meeting Present: Cami Lovell, Linda Dowse, Steve Nelson, Heather Harris, Jill Johnson, Rob Lee, David Harris.
Public Attending: Clark Arnold, Heather Carter, John Taylor, Julie Wand
Public Comment: None
Motion Made by Steve Nelson and seconded by Heather Harris to approve the agenda from the June 1, 2010 GPA school board meeting. The motion was carried unanimously.
Motion made by Steve Nelson member and seconded by Linda Dowse to approve minutes from May 13, 2010 GPA School Board Meeting The motion was approved unanimously.
Motion Made to ratify board members from May 2010 election. Board members joining Heather Carter, John Taylor and Clark Arnold. The Board has great appreciation for David and Heather Harris for all their hard work.
Motion Made to approval of loan resolution security agreement for the amount of 340,000.00. Motion approved unanimously.
Election Leadership discussion- Use school employee for taking notes, and maintaining continuous level from year to year.
Motion Made: by Cami to leave candidates as is
Motion withdrawn: Cami motion made to remove motion
Motion Made: by John Taylor to leave leadership the same as the previous year. Motion approved unanimously.
Directors Report: Mr. Rob Lee
Training Robb Lee and Steve Nelson
The training revolved around the description of the boards role and the accountability factors for the director. Due to the length of the discussion the remainder of the discussion will be held June 17
