I think white shirts would be a joke! Kids get dirty (and should be allowed to get dirty).

I think the students should be allowed to be individual and not have to fit someone elses idea of proper. I love to see children come to my class with different bright beautiful colors and styles. I have not seen any really inappropriate dress.
I think we can aid our kids
I think we can aid our kids better by taking away the stress of 'dressing to fit in'. There is so much more to a person than the way they dress. Having a dress code allows the students to focus on their individuality and worth - this should never come from the way they dress. You can still have dress down days that allows for their own individuality. Conformity is not always negative - and that is also an important lesson for our kids
