About Us

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide children with a competency based classical education with an emphasis on the tools of learning and using practical applications for learning opportunities; also, to provide individual attention and second language acquisition in a safe, respectful, disciplined, and supportive environment.

Gateway Preparatory Academy provides Iron County students from Kindergarten to 8th grade an education that focuses on individual skills, abilities and needs. Established in 2008, we provide an individualized experience focused on student growth while preparing students to be productive members of the community. Our strengths include our child centered approach - through the application of a Montessori philosophy and method - as well as a focus on the arts.
