The School Land Trust committee is made up of our school’s governing board. If parents are interested in learning more about the School Land Trust program or participating in the development of the school’s Land Trust plan, they are invited to attend our monthly board meeting discussing the plan.
Final Report 2024-2025
During the 2024–2025 school year, Gateway Preparatory Academy received $100,666.69 in School LAND Trust funding. These funds were used to directly support student learning and improve academic achievement in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science.
A portion of the funds was used to support salaries and benefits for instructional staff and learning coaches, allowing the school to provide targeted small-group instruction, academic interventions, and instructional coaching. These supports were focused on improving classroom instruction and meeting the needs of students who required additional academic assistance.
The remaining funds were used to purchase instructional technology and software, helping the school maintain a 1:1 student-to-technology environment and increase student access to curriculum and intervention tools. As a result of these investments, the school saw improvements in student performance on RISE assessments. All School LAND Trust funds were spent in accordance with the school’s approved plan, with no funds carried over to the following year. View the final report.
